The Veterans Crisis Line is a free, anonymous, confidential resource that’s available to anyone, even if you’re not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care.

“This booklet is intended to assist returning veterans in their successful transitions to civilian life, and to serve as a resource for veterans of all ages to access financial and benefit resources to which they are entitled. It covers such areas as health care, employment, education, benefits, access to credit, and other financial literacy topics.”  Click here to learn more.

“Our hope is that this Guide will help you gain a full understanding of the benefits, services, and programs available to you whether you’re a veteran, advocate, family member, are currently serving, or are transitioning from the military. We hear so often that veterans are unsure of what Maine offers its military community, and as the leading public advocate for our veterans, we remain committed to meeting the individual needs of our service members. This Guide will undoubtedly serve as a valuable tool in helping our veterans access the benefits they have both earned and deserve.”  Click here to learn more.

“We developed a one-of-a-kind Care Coordination program that provides, free, and confidential support designed to meet the unique needs of Veterans, Military Members and their families. The program works in conjunction with existing military, VA and community programs, and is an important part of the full range of Service Member/family support services available to you and your family.

Services are provided by experienced counselors who are familiar with a wide range of programs and services and have experience navigating “the system.” They understand military culture, employment challenges, substance abuse struggles, and deployment-related issues. They are honored to serve you!”  Click here to learn more.
